Diabetic Supply Shop

Founder story

Built from lived experience.

Diabetic Supply Shop was created by a Type 1 diabetic with lived experience of serious foot complications — including toe amputations. This shop is the result of years of learning, the hard way, what daily prevention really means.

Why this exists

Small problems can become life-changing problems. A blister, a hot spot inside a shoe, a sock with the wrong seam — for someone living with diabetes, those small things can quietly become a wound, an infection, a hospital stay, and in the worst case, an amputation.

The founder of this shop has lived through that progression. The mission is not to be impressive. It is to make the right supplies easy to find, easy to keep stocked, and paired with the kind of calm, careful guidance that a friend who has been through it would give.

What this shop is

  • A curated catalog of diabetic foot care, wound care, daily essentials, and wellness support.
  • Books, journals, and printed guides that focus on routine and prevention.
  • Clear safety language — including when to stop reading the product page and call your doctor.

What this shop is not

  • This is not a medical diagnosis platform.
  • This is not a replacement for your doctor, podiatrist, wound-care nurse, endocrinologist, or emergency care.
  • This is not a place that sells miracle cures. We never claim a product treats, cures, prevents, or reverses any disease.

The prevention-first principle

Every product on this site has to earn its slot by supporting a daily routine that prevents the small things from growing into the big things. That's the whole story.

If you are reading this

You are not alone, and you do not have to be perfect. You just have to be consistent — check your feet, dry between your toes, replace your gauze when it gets dirty, eat in a way you can sustain, take your medications, and call your provider when something is off.

That's the work. Everything in this shop exists to make that work easier.
